Tartan Fun!

 

I am so excited about this!!!! First time I have really tried a multi-coloured warp on my little loom. I came across some wonderful tartan drafts recently and needed to try out some variations! I played around with the colours on Photoshop to get an idea of what the final piece would look like and here is the end result! I am so happy with it! I now have it off the loom and just need to tie off the ends!!! Ahhh so pretty!

Neon Broken Twill

Last of the Broken Twill bunch. This one is so vibrant and neon!!!! Super fun and looks really great on with the colour change on the one end. And just to spice it up even more the ends on each side are a little different. One is braided and the other is twisted because apparently I didn’t think enough was going on in this piece already….

New Broken Point Twill Scarf

 

Finally finished off the three Broken Point Threading Twill scarves that have been on my loom for a while now. This one is a real beauty! The warp is an organic cotton/linen blend and the weft is this lovely hand dyed 100% merino… Hmmm so soft.

Broken Twill Scarf

Second of my Broken Point Threading Twill group. The variegation of this one is super unique. The way the green blends into the purple doesn’t seem like it should really work but I am completely in love with it! Organic cotton/linen blend warp and 100% wool weft. Yum.
